Sex sells.
And so do I.
I’ve sold IT peripherals, B2B services, SEO and most recently the agency I founded.
Hello. I’m Jon.
I’m Jon Payne, a Bristol (UK) based RevOps and HubSpot consultant. I work with established businesses turning over between £2m and £200m. I spent 30+ years running my own companies, including Noisy Little Monkey, a HubSpot Diamond Partner agency I built over 15 years and sold in 2023. Today I work as a Fractional Commercial Director (VP of RevOps for clients who prefer the American title), connecting marketing and sales around profit rather than lead volume. My engagements typically run from three months to three years, on HubSpot Professional and Enterprise, and I work UK-wide, both remotely and on site.
After founding The Web Consultancy in the early 2000’s, it went on to become a brilliant digital marketing agency called Noisy Little Monkey. It employed lots of lovely people, had clients with six figure retainers and won awards for outstanding work and for being a fabulous place to work.

But something was missing.
I was working all the hours and not getting paid enough.
Then I remembered a formula I used back in the 90s to manage very successful telesales teams.
Applying this formula… let’s call it the Piece of Piss Formula… to my agency allowed me to work less and pay myself (and the team) loads more.
The formula works particularly well when combined with HubSpot. For clients, it enables them to grow too because with revenue operations, the CRM, marketing and sales working in harmony, they become more than the sum of their parts.
I love working with employee owned businesses, family businesses and those that are founder led.
For founders and families, I’ll help you take a back seat, and if you want, to sell up and get your life back.
Like I did.
It’s great.
I work with…
Businesses who value people as much as profit.
Businesses with genuine purpose.
Businesses with HQs in the UK with revenue from £2m – £200m.
Established, growing organisations that want real change and understand it will take time.
Companies who have separate sales and marketing teams.
Start Ups / Scale Up founders who want to build systems not shortcuts.
In most cases, you’ll have a HubSpot portal with either Enterprise or Professional subscription.
You might run a purpose led businesses but unless it’s genuinely amazing purpose, you won’t mind me yawning when you’re droning on about it.
I like B Corps too but it is just a badge, if you’re a prick who runs a B Corp, you’re still a prick and I’ll pass.
I don’t work with…
Gambling, porn or organisations that are unkind to people.
Entitled pricks.
Businesses who talk about purpose but don’t walk the walk.
Founders who want to 10x in 30 days.
People who quote Tony Robbins or Grant Cardone.
Anyone who looks a bit too Reformy.
Scientologists.
